Hello everyone, i read tens of threads, tried ALL the possible solutions, but I cannot get Z1000Pro play higher bitrate 4k files without lagging from NAS. I used to use Thecus NAS and had no issues, changes to Qnap NAS - stuttering. No matter what i tried, read - nothing helped. Has anyone maybe experiences similar problem?
QNAP seem to have a bad habit of "doing their own thing" at the wrong time! I make sure all media software settings and DLNA in the QNAP are off (and uninstalled Plex which also wanted to index things and thrash the drives). My Thecus NAS' have been fine with serving 4K remux files to my own Z1000Pro. I'm running the slower ZFS on one (to exceed the 16Tb limit of 32bit OS) and EXT4 on the other 2 (with 64bit OS).
