Can somebody please explain what advantage HDMI "auto" mode has over just setting it to output at say 1080p@60 or 2160p@60 by default? Either way I will be leaving Auto23.976/24 enabled. Also can somebody explain these 2 options: - Auto29.970/59.94Hz None of my other media players have this option. What exactly does this do? I have noticed that if I play 59.94 material it says "Change TV system to 59.94Hz" and if I play a 60.000 file, it says "Change TV system to 60.00Hz", so it seems it does output a slightly different framerate, like 23.976/24. But what does the Auto29.970/59.94Hz option do? - Enable 4k 23.976Hz This one confuses me too.
