Hi guys! So I'm trying to help my friend set up his Zidoo for his restaurant. He wants to get two TVs and stream some programs on them. We don't know much about this stuff, but I told him I think he needs an hdmi splitter, but he thinks he needs a switcher. If he only has the Zidoo, then he only needs a splitter right? Well I found a splitter for about $200 by avproconnect. I have never heard of this brand, is it ok? And as for the price, is it reasonable for what he wants to do? Thanks in advance guys.

yes, you need a splitter. 1 in 2 out. Depends on the quality of video he wants and the distance of the TV from splitter. if he only need fullHD and the TV's are close ( around 15m from the splitter ). you can find splitter for less than 20$ that will work ( OREI HDS-102 is a good place to start for full hd)

P.S. switcher does the other way around ( multiple input's to 1 TV)

If you’re going to be going long distances look into using HDBaseT (HDMI over cat5/6 Ethernet)
