    Hi,

I tested firmware 1.4.12 (from img) and 1.50 (from OTA) but the problem is the same.

If I schedule a record (2h30m for recording a movie) and then power off TV, then i found a video of 10seconds or maximum 10minute ...

If the TV is on, all ok

    UPDATE:
    I checked LOG with "logcat".
I found that the problem is that Zidoo think that the HDMI plugged off...

    After hundreds of test (firmware 1.4.12, 1.4.16, 1.5.0, 2.0.15):
1.the problem with scheduled recorded that not start (after more than an hour) is present in firmware 1.4.12
From firmware 1.4.16 the problem of scheduler is not present... but then the other problem is present

2.the problem with rumors/error in audio REC is present from 1.4.16 ... but if you start a recording and then manually stop, then from the second recording the audio is good (I test for 44100 hz)

3.the problem with recording that STOP and not arrive at wanted duration, is ALWAYS present with TV POWER OFF
(not only with scheduled recording, but with every recording)
I tried with rooted and not rooted firmware.

The error is always the same... after 20/30 minutes that I power OFF the TV... arrive this error:
    04-14 11:31:02.432 4946 6138 D NetlinkEvent: NL param 'DEVPATH=/devices/virtual/switch/rx_video'
    04-14 11:31:02.432 4946 6138 D NetlinkEvent: NL param 'SWITCH_NAME=rx_video'
    04-14 11:31:02.432 4946 6138 D NetlinkEvent: NL param 'SWITCH_STATE=0'

after that error hundred of change of state... that stop recording:

    04-14 11:31:02.470 3682 12371 D MPEG4Writer: Writer thread stopped
    04-14 11:31:02.485 3682 12371 I MPEG4Writer: The mp4 file will not be streamable.
... (many other message, warning, etc...)
    04-14 11:31:02.643 9046 9046 V hdmi_bob: RecorderInterface---stopRecord
    04-14 11:31:02.644 9046 9046 V hdmi_bob: stopRecorder
    ...

I don't understand why with TV ON the problem is not present...

    After other hundreds of test...

The problem with the recording that STOP is only from the HDMI OUT !!!
I tested many time, with more TV.

If you use the RCA-OUT cable the recorder go well... if you use the HDMI-OUT cable (normal connection):
If you turn off and the turn on the TV, the recorder STOP.
I also find a TV that make the recorder STOP, also only if you change the INPUT on TV (HDMI->digital TV->HDMI... and the record STOP)

    So

The problem is the HDMI-OUT plugged IN state (not the pulled out... if you pulled out the cable of HDMI-OUT the record continue without problem)

If you PLUGGED IN the HDMI-OUT the system read configuration for HDMI (display, audio, etc...) and STOP recording !!!

    Also I remember that I don't fisically connect/disconnect the HDMI-OUT cable:
Ziddo read the change of state of HDMI-OUT also if:
    - you change the channel that you are viewing on TV (with sansumg TV that I test)
    - you power off and then power on the TV
    - after 20 minutes (my first example) that you power off a Sony Android TV (i think that it go to standby and after 20 minutes goes to power off really the tv... or something that change the state of HDMI)
    - you reboot the Sony Android TV (immediatly the HDMI state change... and stop recorder)

    So

I hope Zidoo read this and make some TEST with the apk HDMI-IN that must ignore the HDMI-OUT state...

Pulled out/plugged in (fisically or some change of state from standby or reboot) ... the recorder MUST continue to record without problem!!!

Also ... in some TV... I can't change the channel maynwhile zidoo is recording ??? It is impossible to do...

    NOW
I am on firmware 2.0.15 BETA and the problem is always present

    Thanks for reading.
