I'm having trouble seeing image when I connect my set to box to watch cable through the HDMI. It shows a blank screen but I can see the channel guide. Any suggestions. I've tried other devices and they work fine.
on Tv programs, bluray and some other stuff (legal) , there is a protection on the HDMI cable, called HDCP. this protection forbidd the copy of the signal ! from what you're describing, it seems your tvbox send a HDCP signal when thevideo play but not when the guide is called. i can't tell this at 100%, but it's one of the possibility. if other device work, it's because the HDCP protection is not on them.
