Hdmi audio recording

Hello What's the audio output format if you record in the hdmi dolby 5.1? 5.1 or downmix 2 channels stéréo ?

It is downmixing to Stereo 2.0 irrespective of the Audio with Input File. Here is the MediaInfo output of the file that is getting generated.

 

hdmi audio recording not working.
something is wrong with latest firmware.

 

You must output PCM audio to X9 recorder.
It can't record audio source code by passthrouth.

 

I'm using PCM output.
I tried with 3 different devices, using stereo, pcm, etc.
No audio recording.
It's display that AAC sound recorder but with 9kb.
Before worked.

 

If i put on dolby i can't hear sound on tv.
If i put to stereo i can hear sound.
I'm using input from hdmi player and output to tv.
Worked in latest firmware, but now it's not working anymore and how to debug ?

 

triet again from pcm source, and NO audio recoding.

 

still no audio on hdmi recording after V1.0.2.8 update.
mp4a and aac audio files are produced but there is no audio content.
It appears Dolby or ac3 is not accepted or converted even though
it is passed through okay.

 

I want to make sure I understand this... Is it true that the X9 is not (and has never been) capable of recording any surround sound? That would probably be a "deal breaker" for me.
