Hello. I just bought my new Z9X Pro, installed the 1.0.86G firmware and activated Google Play . My problem is that the icons of some of the applications that I install via Google play do not show in the APPS window in ZIUI. I can access them only via the Google Play, or the "apps" option in the "advanced settings" tab. Then they run without any problem. Examples: Youtube icon appears. Prime Video icon does not. I tried uninstalling-reinstalling, resetting the player, but nothing changed, Any idea why this might be happening and how it can be fixed? Thanks in advance for any help.
We all have it like this since the very beginning. No solution till Zidoo team will finally deal with thew problem...
Searching a bit using an application called "Shortcuts creator" I found out that all the apps for which icons are not created in the apps folder, have one thing in common: they have no main activity (or at least the app does not recognize one). I do not know if it is relevant or just a coincidence. If this is really the reason, can someone suggest how one activity can be designated as "main"?
Install the app "SideApps" and use it. It does not replace the main launcher, just an app that lists all the installed apps in the device.
Thank you for your advise. Installed FLauncher and everything is fine now. Too bad Zidoo cannot correct its launcher. At least we have found a good alternative.
Thank you for your proposal. Both your suggestion and the one above yours for the FLauncher were very useful. I will stay with the FLauncher for now, as I find its interface very practical. I will try SideApps too, in order to compare.
Flauncher solves for me all problems. I have Z9Xpro. With 1.0.95 still this problems in the ziui. It is not okay that a $249 device have this issues. Also you do not need the tidal launcher this way it launch with flauncher normally
