    FT service is not working in Openwrt (NAS) in Zidoo X9S to access its USB drive,

    Note: I was able to access the USB drive of Zidoo x9s from another Android device on the same network usimg the app:
    EX Fle Explorer --> LAN
    But not through using ftp://Local IP address of Zidoo X9S.

    yes. samba working for me, from x9s to pc and from pc to x9s.

    just turn it on. the HDD should show in the settings ( mounted with /mnt/sda1 probably ) , mark allow guest login.
    from pc , go to " map network driver " and put //192.168.1.x/Disk_sda1 ( if its mounted under sda1 , x is the ip of the box )

    you should be able to connect using map network driver with adress : " \\192.168.x.x\Disk " where 192.168.x.x is the box IP . i also suggest binding the IP in the router settings to the box mac adress. also found in router settings. ( can tell you where , depends on the router )

    I have the same problem (with MacBook).

    Anyone know why????

    I did not resolve the problem yet. I assigned the Zidoo to the IP-address that it was given by the router. No access. I deactivated the dhcp in the zidoo and gave it an ip-address. No access.
    The error messages are different. I was asked for the username and the password (using cyberduck) but could not connect. Or it says that no more users are allowed. :-(((
