External Hard Drive Shutdown

    I am currently using an 8TB hard drive in a FIDECO external hard drive enclosure. When I shutdown the A6 it doesn't spindown the hard drive.

    Does anyone else use an external hard drive enclosure with bare drive, and if so, does it spindown OK?
    I'm not sure if it's normal behaviour for the eversolo or if it's my enclosure that's at fault.
    Maybe it's because the enclosure is mains powered and does have a power on/off button. It would just be more convenient to have it shut down automatically.

    1. is the HDD powered by the USB port, or does it have its own power supply?
    2. do you actually turn the A6 off, or just put it to "stand-by", that is, the A6 will just power its display off, but remain alive, and hence still powering the USB port, together with your HDD...
