I just got the DMP-A6 Master edition and when I select Music Services, then Tidal or Qobuz, it just spins away and never actually connects. I've tried factory reset, software update, unplugging, wifi and wired, phone restart, unplugging all internet routers and I can't think of anything else to do. Unfortunately, this will be a deal breaker and I'll be sending it back to SummitHIFI.
does it connect to other music services, Amazon, radio? can you cast its screen? it’s possible that you have a localised issue with those servers, if you can connect to other streaming services. we know the system works so it’s either a local server issue or a faulty unit. Connection to other Music Services will help source the error.
I wouldn't give up so quickly, it doesn't necessarily sound like a faulty unit, it could be a simple issue with the local network or the installation on the phone.
It connected via Tidal Connect and yes I was able to mirror to the phone. I was also able to connect my bluetooth but none of that helped getting the music services to connect. I've also uninstalled/reinstalled the app. I've seen other posts about this as well but no real resolution. FYI, this is an iphone pro 12 and all my other players have connected just fine.
Hello, same issue here, just got DMP and don't know if send it back, any solution? Cannot enter the Tidal from the Iphone App (Streaming services), but it works in the DMP itself touch screen, Cast mode and Tidal Connect obviously. I think they need to fix it with some update. Please advise. UPDATE: it works fine with Android device, but not with an IOS one... will that be fixed? UPDATE2: I have updated an Iphone app from the app store, and it is working perfectly fine now... so issue seems to be FIXED!
