Hi Guy's, Last night when I came home I wanted to watch a movie, but no Internet. I've reset the router, the X9S and I tried WIFI, as this has a different MAC . Chrome gives me a DNS error, but the strange thing is I can ping the box from my laptop, no problems. It gets an IP from my router, no strange things there . This morning I tried the box at work and it failed again. next step was to configure everything manually ( IP, DNS etc.), but that didn't work either. Last step was to factory reset the box and that didn't work too. Does anybody have another idea? And are the ethernet port leds supposed to flash both, or is 1 for 100Mb and the other for 1Gb?
I installed firmware 1.2.7 , using a thumb drive and presto! No clue why it would't connect the internet, but at least we can use the box again, my wife is happy.
