Hello, just setting up my new X9S.
When i press enter button during playback, the video pauses.
I want to be able to show osd player controls (chapter skip) without video pausing.
Is there a way to do this?
Or can i change 'enter' button default task on remote.
    Thank you.

Yes, I support. To pause there is a special button "play/pause"

Exactly, there is already a play/pause button, it makes more sense for the enter button to produce the player controls like in kodi, the pause is disruptive and annoying.

wait what. Enter for me does not pause the video. It only brings up the options bar.

Are you doing this whilst in mouse mode as suggested by Sarco? This works, but i don't want to enter mouse mode to skip a chapter.
If i am watching a movie in Default player or via ZDMC wrapper and i press the enter button, yes it brings up the options bar, but it also pauses the movie till i choose an option.
    I am running 1.26.
I'm not making this up, if i have to record a video, where should i upload this too?
It seems spawn_Img agrees that it does this also.
In ZDMC with no external player, pressing the enter button works as it should.

I see now.i dont use wrapper. Still not sure why youd need one.

    Need what?
I just need the 'enter' button to work exactly as it does with all other Android boxes, bring up the player controls, without pausing the movie, it is very frustrating.

why you need a wrapper and not use the standard kodi player
