When changing the volume via HDMI earc the minimum volume seems to be -50dB I can go lower using the eversolo remote though. If the volume is lower than -50 I can increase it through HDMI in the correct increments but cannot lower it until it gets above -50. The TV shows that it is sending the lower volume instruction.
But the tv doesn't know what volume the dmp-a8 has it just sends a lower volume message which the a8 ignores when the volume is -50 or lower. It works properly on other devices.
