DRM Support

Hi,

I'd like to know whether the X9s supports Google Widevine 1 DRM and Microsoft PlayReady? The Specs of the RTD1295 chip say that would be compatible.

 

There will be any progress on this thread? Answer from Zidoo? Not it looks that answer is NO and NEVER will be.

DRM info reports only : oma v1 forward lock . NO widevine or readyplay

 

I also encourage developers to prepare a firmware which add DRM support.
Unfortunately it is a big minus of Zidoo X9S. Everything apart from it makes X9S a powerful
and very interesting tv box, but to make it the best of the best it still needs to have DRM support.

In Poland there is a player.pl Google Play Android app. It is freeware and it is available only for Polish users.
There are a video content from one of the biggest tv station and many, many more videos.
Unfortunately they encode their videos with DRM protection and I cannot playback them.
It is a BIG, BIG minus of Zidoo X9S.
