Hi, a question for all EverSolo DMP-A6 users who use an external DAC + Roon e.g. on an Ipad. Does the Roon Remote apk for Ipad show you what DAC you have connected? I have Brooklyn DAC+ and Roon Remote on Ipad does not show the model. I reported the problem to Roon Labs but they claim that the EverSolo DMP-A6 is the problem. Yes, it plays everything nicely, no problems, but it does not show which external DAC is connected. My configuration is: Roon Server on a laptop connected to the Router (via Cat6 cable), ES DMP-A6 connected via Cat6 cable to the router, and DMP-A6 connected via USB AB cable to Mytek Brooklyn DAC+ and then RCA cables to Roksan k3 etc. DMP control - A6 is done using the Roon Remote apk on the Ipad.
If you are refering to the Roon path info, it does not show the DAC info for my setup too. Just state USB Output. Though the A6 does report the DAC correctly as Accuphase in its USB device info. My setup A6 - USB- Accuphase DAC-60
That's what I meant. EverSolo identifies the DAC well. Roon for iPad no. Like yours it shows "USB Out" with no device name. How do I notify EverSolo support to work on it? Got any ideas?
