DLNA is not reliable

hello all,
before DMP-A6, i was mainly using Bubblesoft controller with its BubbleUPnP server. i had 2 renderers: raspberry pi and wiim mini.

i have enabled DLNA in DMP-A6, but most of time, it is not showing up in BubbleUPnP. other renderers appear without any issues.
i use DLNA mainly to show the album art on a larger HDMI screen which is connected to raspberry pi running a custom program.

please offer any advice or suggestion on getting DLNA to work reliably.

 

ok, it seems i have to reboot DMP-A6 in order for BubbleUPnP to see it.
but why?

 

How do you enable DLNA in the DMP A6please ?

 

from the Home,
Streaming -> DLNA (toggle on/off)

It was already ON but I don't see my A6 in my Samsung TV for video files reading from the A6 SSD...But I see my Zappiti...

 

check in Home->Files
you should see SSD as disk icon as well as Share (folder icon) and SMB.
if not, it has not been formatted or initialized properly.

 

I don't see this...but my SSD is plugged in the USB port, can it use DLNA ?

And I also don't see it for the internal memory...

Maybe a screenshot would more helpful..
