Usually, all these apps from play store check for DRM and they run in SD. HD is impossible. Had the same issue with WWE app and eventually it stopped working (getting updates or being available in the Store).
Are you saying Zidoo did not tweak it and rebrand it? If they have done so, I would think it's a Zidoo issue.
not the addon part. Kodi is open source, anyone care tweak it if they want. They added the ability to play files in kodi using zidoo external media player, done some work for kodi auto refresh rate to work on realtek soc, and this version of zdmc based on kodi 17.1 still has zidoo pass trough code, that should be removed in favor of official kodi passtrough in near future.
