I just bought a Zidoo x9s today and I can't seem to play any 1080p tv shows. For example, tried playing Vikings off a USB thumb drive and off a 2TB external drive. It starts to stutter almost immediately. I am on 1.25 firmware. Do i have a defective unit or is this a limitation of the box?
If you, in advance, read the whole forum section, and don't post you problem blindly, you see that many of us plays your kind of video file with no problems. Indeed some report issues, this is true. And is also possible that you unit is defective... Or your video are encoded in a uncommon format, or by strange encoders. But who knows? Try to updete FW, and try again. Hope you'll be lucky!
