Cant format TF Card keeps crashing @ 20% done

Hi,
Just got the X9s v1.2.3 so far I am unable to format my Sandisk Extreme UHS-1 32gb tf card..
attempts to just format, or format as internal results in this error:

"Java,util.concurrent.TimeoutException: Thread Binder_5 gave up waiting for partitionPrivate after 180000ms" 20% into the process.

I was forced to use my windows box to re-format the TF-Card the x9s recognizes it as external but want to use it as internal

I noticed a new firmware update in the forum but I not clear if it addresses this issue

is there a know fix for this?

1, Delete all the partitions of card on the computer
2,Put it back to X9S
3,Box ask to format, then choose the internal, and format
