Kodi, and there are also plugins, that will back up your video/movie libraries. To do this they need to write to a disk, obviously.. Kodi MUST have permission to write to a HDD, even if its external.
this problem is known. for now, you can save the libraryusing the internal storage. can't remember exact path to a folder that works. but it does. i moved my library from zdmc to kodi17 this way
Thanks, but I tried all the paths (also trying to write internally) with no luck. I used the browse button and went through the list/s.. If you remember the path please let me know.. I only have 1.2.6 for now, and the installed zdmc that I am trying to back up. -there is a plugin called 'backup' that also backs up plugins and their settings, skins etc.., that i tried, and I also tried the internal zdmc backup in the settings area. Will kodi 17 install OK with the X9S in its default form or are there any other procedures needed? There are several bugs related to zdmc and X9S audio that i found and will post here in a few minutes.. about 4 or 5 bugs all related to the volume and its interaction with zdmc thanks kurt
