Is this correct way that Zidoo is doing with auto frame rate (FW latest 2.0.34) 1) Off = Zidoo upscale/convert original video to whatever resolution/refresh rate that you set on Zidoo settings. 2) Switch frame rate only = original frame rate is maintained per original movie but resolution is converted to resolution set in Zidoo settings. 3) Switch frame rate and resolution = Video's original frame rate and resolution untouched and sent to the TV for upscaling and conversion.
Not sure if I need to do framerate or framerate and resolution. Does it depend on my tv? I play mainly 1080p or 4k movies. My tv is a kdl40w600b
I don't know. But for me I just try out one by one of the 3 settings , and watch the movie at least 10 mins for each setting , see if any stutter. Then I select the one which is smoothest. So far for me 'Switch Frame Rate and resolution' works best for my TV.
