I am using x6 pro, ( firmware : 1.0.40 ) with a 60 inch 4k TV. When I play audio/video eiher from usb or internet, I am not getting the surround (rear L and R ) seperately but mixed with Front L and R. I played many files audio and video but no luck. I did all the recommended settings like: Enabling Android to HDMI pass through Kodi setting to 5.1 channels, dolby capable receiver, dts, true HD receiver etc... But still no luck.
After checking lot of video and audio files, with different players, these are my finding. Zidoo X6 Pro default video player or Kodi Default Video player doesn't give the result. Then I download MX player, using MX player I finally got sounds in each channel correctly. Zidoo developers, could you please check this issue please.
Good news! the problem is solved. ( look like so) You can do all the recommended setting, except one. Instead of selecting number of channel to 5.1, just change to 2. And miraculasly all of the test visdeos appear normal (play on assigned channels.) I do not understnad how this works. But its working for me, Is anyone please explain why it is working, or is this the right way? or is it just a simulation?
