Our test engineers just can't reproduce the issue.
Alexender and other users who occured this issue, can you have a test that del all your personally APPs? and then try youtube again?
If it still lag, how about just do a factory reset? And see if it still lag after a factory reset?

I'm wondering why such a issue happened widerly on 4pda users, but we just seldom hear of other users encounter this lag issue.
Is it possible that have someting to do with 4pda app which may created a mass of small files.

The speed of VPN is really fast when we tested this issue.
I strong recommend you to do a factory reset, and then test youtube issue immediately without install any other apps especially 4pda app.

 

So that's very strange. I still want to see more users do a factory reset and test it again.
The reason is that there are also many users reported they have nothing bugs on youtube.
Therefore I really strong suspect that some 3rd app installed in x9s caused this issue.
