Audio always out of sync in ZDMC

Please fix audio out of sync in ZDMC.
When playing hevc video sometimes freeze and fast forward meanwhile audio keep playing normally.

 

This is easily fixable. Go to ZDMC, go to settings (make sure you see the advanced options), go to video and turn off hardware acceleration. Done!

 

RGdM, do your advice solve all the problems reported by lucagb76 ?

 

Yes it did for me its working very smoothly now. Even after scrolling fast forward and backwards the audio was still in sync. Before after 20 seconds of normal playback the audio would go out of sync and sometimes was lagging up to 1 second. That is all gone now and like I said scrolling has no effect anymore

(anyway strange, ZDMC was build by Zidoo to include some Rockchip optimizations, and not only ... I don't have strange behaviour, but I'll do some test in any case, I'm curious)

Very strange thing happened to me...

Deciding last-night I will reload from 1.33 and then go to 1.36 to give a full rundown on how to load the box and get the audio in sync, I found all my audio out of sync! Now, don't get me wrong, I do believe this to be a Kodi problem, as mentioned before, but what changed?

To test, I am going to go back to 1.19 and check if I can get to a Kodi release that has everything in sync...

Kodi problem? No, I don't think so. Zidoo problem. I installed Kodi on my phone (Cyanogenmod 13, Marshmallow) and audio is always perfectly in sync.

Or you can also adjust audio delay in osd gui and click ("apply to all videos").

 

Maybe your phone use other chipset like Rockchip 3368 in X6 pro. And yes, it's Zidoo's problem.

 

Of course. It uses Snapdragon chipset. However, it's all about software, not hardware. Zidoo's software is poor

 

Questions to ask yourself regarding Delay of Audio:

• Does it happen in Kodi?
• Does it happen Natively?

If:

• Both answers "YES" = Zidoo/RK3368 (problem with the Hardware/OS)
• One answer is "NO" != Zidoo/RK3368 (Problem with Software not Hardware)
• One answer is "NO" and Kodi is "YES" = Kodi problem.

Thus, in my experience:

• Kodi = FLAWED on ALL RK3368 platforms.

If you can prove differently, please tell us not only the device name, but also the solution.

Because of poor Android build on ALL RK3368. Blame RK, not Kodi.

 

Turning off hardware acceleration plays video stuttering.
It's not possible .
I bought this device for use as video player and it has several bugs.
Playing video from my Sony camera , audio is out of sync 1 second.
My Asus OPlay and other devices have no audio issue like X6.
Zidoo team please fix this issue quickly otherwise I'll send back this product

 

could you check if for you audio is out of sync also on youtube? i checked and for me is out of sync. small out of sync but very annoying. didn't had this problem with a 15$ stick .

You are talking about zdmc (kodi)? If so, that will fix zdmc but i see the put of sync also on youtube. My device seems to not be rooted so i don't know if i could modify something else

I've managed to fix the out of sync in kodi. Edit advancedsettings.xml as described before.​

 

I noticed when I got my x6 the audio was slightly out of sync on zdmc. I know from experience that hardware acceleration can sometimes mess up thing, so I turned it off, fixed the problem. The rocketship 3368 is a powerful processor, hardware acceleration just screws it up.
