    Hi,
Sorry for my English I’m French,

I’m new and I want to buy a Zidoo,

but I have one question, everywhere I see that for Dolby atmos it needs eARC, which is only in HDMI 2.1
And Zidoo’s have only 2.0, so if someone can explain to me how it works (technically) to send uncompressed sound with HDMI 2.0 ?
How can my audio system can receive uncompressed sound with a zidoo sending through a hdmi 2.0

    thanks in advance
    Fabrice

Dolby Atmos and DTS:X require HDMI 2.0.
ARC and eARC are technology that allows TVs to send audio signals to audio device. E.g., receiver or soundbar.
ARC on HDMI 2.0 does not allow sending of Atmos & DTS:X from TV to audio device.
eARC is a spec on HDMI 2.1 that allows sending of Atmos & DTS:X from TV to audio device.

Assuming that you want to connect Zidoo to the TV first and then connect the TV to the audio device. You can use HDMI 2.0 to connect Zidoo to the TV and then HDMI 2.1 to connect TV to the audio device to get Atmos & DTS:X.
