Just got 3 months free trail yesterday. I have used Qubuz,Tidal, Amazon, but there was no Apple Ap, I had to install the one in the Aps section. It is terrible, you can't see what the track info is, if it's 16bit, 24 bit etc.
Is Apple full Hi res like the other services. I haven't had a chance to go into their site to look things up.
I have to check if there is an .apk for a better ap for DMP -A6

Unfortunately, you need to check the music information of Apple Music in the apple music app playback information. If apple provides an API like Tidal or qobuz, evesolo will be able to play it through the original music player, but for now, it is best to check it through the Apple Music app.
You need to check the Apple Music High Resolution setting in the Apple Music app.

Thanks for the link..just made changes will give it a go. Probably cancel after 30 days as I see their catalogue is worse than Qobuz...tried all top 4 streaming services in the past year.

I recently got an A6ME. I have been using the preinstalled Apple Music App version 4.60, which is not particularly good. I am wondering if I should upgrade to version 4.80. My understanding is that this version works, whereas 4.8.1 has problems. Is that correct? Also, is version 4.80 an improvement over the 4.60 that I have now? Thanks in advance!

There is no meaningful difference between the 4.6.0 and 4.8.0 versions, stick with the 4.8.0 version as the 4.8.1 version has a bug that only works well when connected to wifi.

There is a firmware update coming to Eversolo within two weeks, so you might as well wait until then.

Thanks for the help again on Apple music, works fine now. Not crazy about their interface compared to Qobuz and Tidal, they seem to be about same as Amazon. They don't have a lot of titles also.
Anyway try it out for 30 days.

Missing lots of artists...not an apple fan...just thought I would try it out. Qobuz is #1.

Qobuz is missing tons of music compared to apple.

I have set the Apple Music at HiRes Lossless, but I seem to be getting, at best, 24-bit/48 kHz ALAC across all files I have been playing. I was getting essentially the same with Apple TV as the streamer, and I was hoping that with DMP a6, I would get better quality. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks in advance!

Apple TV hardware has max 24/48 output but with the correct settings, you will get 24/192 on the A6.

I have noticed that Apple Music on the A6/A8 sometimes doesn’t read/load the best quality but I got 24/192 with the Coldplay album.

Thank you for your detailed response—it is much appreciated. I was able to get 24/192 for that Coldplay song that you mentioned, so there is nothing wrong with my setup, which is good to know. Strangely, other songs on the same Coldplay album cap out at 24/44. That said, I have compared the sound quality with Amazon Music, which seems to be the same. Thanks again!
