With FW ver 12, playing any full episodes from sciencechannel through the browser was stuttering all over the place. With FW ver 16, it is incredible that there was no stuttering at all with the X8 box, but chrome snapped and crashed with X9S. After some debugging, it turns out that there was only 560MB free RAM memory on the X9S, while the X8 has around 850MB, further investigation showed that the OS occupied 120MB more than the X8, while all the other little apps occupied 5MB to 20MB more than the X8. A reset through settings cleaned out everything, and after restoring all the previous Apps, free RAM memory for the X9S is now back up to around 850MB. If your App crashes for unknown reason, don't go through "quick settings" but settings within App icon to peek at the memory option to find out if you have enough free memory, and which app is consuming how much. You can reclaim some memory through the App cleaner in the home page.
