Any Way to access ZDMC'S guisettings.xml to change skins

The only way to change to most skins in ZDMC is to edit the guisettings.xml located in a folder that now is not accessible due to it being android 11. I need a way to access this file and edit it. The usual file explorers do not work.

edit: I seem to not be able to access any storage at all with other apps even though i have allowed them.

edit 2: I figured it out so I'll post it here. you have to copy the XML file to a USB drive using the Zidoo file manager, then on your PC edit it, and then just put it back the same way.
