Any recommendations for a 4k media player that will play movies off of a portable HDD on my 4k tv?

    Can't you plug the portable hdd into the TV's USB port?
    What's the model and brand of the TV?
    I can plug a USB hdd or USB memory stick into my SONY and the built in media player is OK, no bells and whistles but works OK
