If I try to sort my library by artist in the app some artists are missing and some are shown twice . Sorting direct on the DMP-A6 is working correct .
The sorting by artist on the controller app is definitely weird, I often get blocks of artists getting repeated out of alphabetic sequence when I scroll through. The sorting via cast on the A6 does not show this. This has been the case for as long as I have had the A6, so I just use this latter method rather than the app route.
But with cast , scrolling the library is very slow and nearly impossible . Also Orderview is not working with the app . So I'm back to my DIY-Streamer till this will be fixed .
I find the scrolling with cast for artists not really slow, quite responsive really. You can always type in your artist name directly in the search bar to go direct, I know not possible if just browsing.
