A8 stops playing when Bluetooth remote connects

Sinse the last update when I switch my A8 on and start playing on turning the volume up the sound stops and the A8 goes back to the home screen, when this happens I get a brief message on the screen saying "Bluetooth remote connected" this is annoying as I then have to go back through the menus to start playing again, I have tried a factory reset and still no joy. It only does this once after switching the device on from standby?

Does the music stop playing and take you back to the home screen? Every time I get the message my music stops and the home screen comes up? I guess you wouldn't know unless you play something before you use your remote...

 

Yes, I have been asked to send a video to Eversolo, which I have just done. I will now test to see if this happens only after powering on the unit by pressing the volume button or remote starting using the Eversolo App. Being that the first communication with the remote causes this.

 

Yes,music stops and straight back to home screen. I've got into the habit of just pressing the info button before I start listening to anything!

 

Now, since I know about this issue, my A8 does ist too

 

I imagine quite a few do it but lots of people probably don't use the remote control. Hopefully gets sorted soon

 

I have this issue too. When I start playing Tidal from ipad app and then press any button on the remote control (next track or volume up/down as example) playback stops, Eversolo A8 restarts (screen goes off and on) and I have to to back and start play again.

 

Good news, I sent video and info to Eversolo and they have sent me a push notification to update firmware. The very latest is v1.4.05 after one attempt by me to replicate fault it seems to have fixed it!

 

Great news! Any idea when the update will be rolled out for everyone?

 

Finally a solution it seems ... I was getting so frustrated with that issue ...

 

I was assuming that this would be available to everyone with the same update version?

 

I read somewhere that 2 april is the release date for th enew firmware. Perhaps Zidoo are making an exception for people with this issue.

 

I will check mine out tonight and see if we get it early.

 

AFAIK you can only get it early if you raise the issue via mail and upload a video demonstrating the issue. At least that's what I was instructed to do. I will have to ask my wife as I just left for a business trip
