Even though dsp is disabled on all inputs , the iPad/iPhone app it says it’s on … I tried deleting the app and reinstalling it - same thing.
I see PCM, not DSD, so what is your concern? The icon may tell DSD is supported; the playback info, though, states it is playing PCM.
the DSP icon shows DSP is “on” even though it’s not. I’m talking about DSP , not DSD. That’s a DSP icon , not DSD. That’s all …. It’s a “glitch” … Same thing on all inputs . Turning dsp on or off for any “source” doesn’t change the icon status … it’s “stuck” . Happy Holidays! Bk
It was introduced for the A6 (on/off icon) and worked after updating the firmware of the A6. I guess, Eversolo now have to be a bit more careful with updates since they have 2 streamers but in this case released an IOS update that also took effect for the A8 that didn’t get a new firmware. It will most likely work on the A8 after the next firmware update.
Probably a glitch in the iOS app vs the A8 .. I have one iPad running the old app and the bug isn’t present on that one . thanks for the reply bergholdt… bk
