Hello, I've just received my UHD 5000. I've put two HDD in it which was previously in a Zappiti 4K Duo Everything works fine and all my Movies and TV Shows have been recognized. I have some "newbie" questions : 1/ In my hard drives, my videos are located in "Movies" and "TV Shows" directories. I have activated Samba but I can't navigate into these folders from my PC (Windows 11) to transfer files for example. Instead I see "Share" and 2 directories like" AXXXXX". How can I add my two folders in SMB sharing ? 2/ When I ping "192.168.1.238", I reach the UHD but I didn't find the port to access "admin interface" from PC. 192.168.1.238:XXXX ? 3/ Is it possible ton change the HDD names in any way ? 4/ How to remove videos tag which are "In progess reading" ? 5/ Because my HDDs come from "Zappiti", I have a lot of unesful directories and files, but I really don't know which ones I can delete. Can you give me the "minimum" useful directories? Thank you very much in advance
There is an issue with SMB awaiting a fix from the developers. For the name of the HDDs, there is no way to do it in the Zidoo, to my knowledge. Plug them to your PC, with a dock or whatever, and rename them from here. Highlight the poster of the movie on the poster wall and press the Pop Menu button of the remote and choose "Mark as watched ", if I understand correctly your question. For an episode of a TV show, highlight it on the detail page of the season and press the "Menu" button of the remote. If you use the system by default to identify your movies and your shows, you can remove everything but the videos. You can also remove some directories but that will force the Zidoo to scan the sources again if they are in the path to access to the content I think. You only need to have a main folder containing the kind of content that you want (Movies, TV Shows, Animation…). Think to how you want to organize your collection before to add your sources: you can use them to display some new categories not there by default on the welcome page of Home Theater 4.0 (widgets). Their content will be refreshed automatically because they are declared as a source. You can also create some personalized categories wich are not a source, but you will have to add manually any content that you want to add to them. Same action but the option will change in the Menu for "Mark as unwatched" (marquer comme Non Vu). That's automatic, depending of the statute of the video.
