The first issue I had was taking my 16tb HDD out of my Z10 pro and putting it into the Z20 Pro. I cold not scrape all the movies (locally), the system kept crashing after about 1/2 way through the scan (the HDD has about 14TB of data to scan. The system would re-boot then crash again, over and over. --I had to reformat the HDD to NTFS, re-copy all the 14TB onto it again, then scrape. It still crashed about 1/2 way through but the system didnt keep rebooting, so I could finish the scrape. It seems Z20Pro will not work (completely) with MacOS journal format where the Z10 Pro did. I could read all the files with the Mac format, but not scrape past about 8TB. Randomly movies would not play, where they did play before. At first I thought it was the h265 issue people were talking about. I was playing all movies fine via my network, but playing them within the internal HDD seemed to have this issue. I changed the HDCP setting to 'ON'... so far I have not seen the random bad playback issue.. not sure if this fixed it permanently or what because it was random. Also I dont know why there even is a HDCP setting, seeing thee Z20 dont record, unlike the Z10 that can. Also playing 1080p H265 seems to work fine with this setting (so far, for me anyway)
After some more testing, the HDCP setting is not the cause of movies not playing. It appears to be a memory issue like others have reported.
