Zidoo interface setting

    Hi, I just bought a Zidoo X1 II, and I have some questions:

    1. How do I disable the sound made at each keypress by the zidoo interface?
    2. The "Media Center" app (the file browser) cannot play a lot of my movies, it says something like ther is no license for divx, which is wrong. How can I set it to use an external app for media playing (e. g. mxplayer)?
    3. Can I change the home screen to the standard Android one?
    4. Is there a menu for setting the general features of the zidoo interface (home screen, media center and all)?

    Hi,

    Thanks for your answers. I tried to update the firmware using your method, but it didn't work at all. The device was briefly detected by the PC when it booted with the reset pin held down, but after a few seconds it disappeard from the Windows Device Manager. In fact, I found that the device automatically entered the android recovery menu. There was no way of putting the zidoo in the mode that allows updating the firmware by usb cable.

    However, I managed to update it using the android recovery menu, as shown in Adl's post here: http://forum.zidoo.tv/index.php?threads/how-to-update-using-recovery.1490/ (thanks, Adl)

    Now I have the v.1.0.7 firmware and it's much better. The media center works now, and I am beginning to like the zidoo launcher interface. I especially like that I can automatically run an app at startup and the feature of using the colored keys on the remote as shortcuts for apps.

    One more question: is there a way to configure the Weather widget on the home page to display the current temperature, not only the interval? It would be very helpful.
