    Hi,

I just bought a Zidoo Z9X. I have a external HDD from seagate 2tb. What is the best way to format it? NTFS? FAT? ExFAT? Size? etc.

I will only play (big) .m2ts and .mkv Blu-Ray rips.

Single full partition NTFS+GPT will work always and is W10/11 compatible. EXT4 where used in combination with Linux on a PC.

@Gurn: GPT is the successor of MBR - Google can help you with that. In short: how the partitions are organized on the HDD/SSD.

MBR and GPT both initialize the HDD. With that they will be found by the OS. Next partitions can be created on them and be formatted.
Most tools do this in one go.
