whenever HDMI in is running.. always

Its the daydream. even though it is off, it is still working.
Set it to 5 minutes, then turn it off, wait 5 or so minutes with HDMI running and the screen will go black

I have the same problem still also the Black status bar. IT is the daydream function even when it's off.

spring, what about the Daydream "bug"?

I can add this info: I DON'T like Daydream, so I never activated it at all. In my case, the black screen issue after some time even when Daydream is disabled don't happens to me.
On other android device I own I saw that after a full factory restore or a deep clean Daydream is not configured (no radio button selected), and in this case it don't operate at all. But if I choose one of the option radio button, it's no more possible to put it in the original "undefined" state. Maybe a native Android bug?
A working "workaround" will be warmly welcome!

i'm guessing its a easy fix. so we should get it in the next firmware.
The big talk right now is the official android 17 passtrough. Is it worth fixing all this bugs. or just start work on android 7 ?

spring, maybe this the reason why this "issue" don't happen to me. I always set "stay awake" to "on" on my TV Box.
From my point of view, put them in idle state is useless. They don't need to save battery charge when not in use...
This is my opinion, of course.
