How to fix freezing playback kodi in 1.0.16 firmware

I installed latest firmware 1080p kernel.
Seems that all codecs are enabled by default in Kodi like in 1.0.15.
Problem is that if if ZDCODEC is enabled, playback is shuttering or freezing every 2 seconds. With ZDCODEC display awcodec-h264.
So, i disabled ZDCODEC and left at hardware acceleration the rest of libstagefright and mediacodecs.. and now i don't have any freezing.
I don't know if ZDCODEC disabled has any impact on system.

So.
ZDCODEC enabled --- awcodec-h264 -- freezing every 1-2 seconds
ZCODEC disabled -- amc-h264 -- no freezing, playback smooth. 1080p24 1080p50 1080p60 720p50 720p50.

I tried streaming from 9gag plugin on kodi ( zidoo repository).

This maybe can be a temporarily fix until zdcodec is fixed.

I like to mention that zidoo codec disabled it's working on 1080p.

Kodi ZDMC working bad.

 

SPMC KODI 15 has hardware acceleration for h264 (amc-h264)
It's working on H3, S802,RT1195.

I saw that kodi 15.1 that is in testing has better video quality than Kodi 15, even with low resolution files.

Fixed the issues as bellow:
1. It play fine for a few seconds, then stops maybe half second, then play a few more seconds, stop half a second, and so on…

Root cause: It is a bug of hardware decoder, when decoder was summited too much data, its performance will be bad. We adjust the plan of summit time and decode time. It work fine now.


2. Support H265 and wmv3 by zdcodec. Just improve the video compatibility.

 

I've installed it, but some movies are still very laggy.
For example:
Pretty.Little.Liars.S06E08.720p.HDTV.X264-DIMENSION
Please check it. It works fine with Kodi 15.

DLNA from Lan, but I have no problems with the other videos. Just only these episodes are laggy.
In Kodi 15 and 16 beta works fine. I don't have any network problems.

I just installed the kodi test version.
Tested with apple trailers .. the intern trailer. Very good quality and 1080p24 smooth.
Some trailers aspect ratio is incorrect. I don't know if from awcodec or kodi. I saw some times on kodi (non zidoo version) that this problem was reported.
