Hi All, I have Z10 Pro and Bose 700 bar which doesn't decode TrueHD via Zidoo (KODI on shield does decode it). Bose 900 does but it doesn't support DTS anymore -PIA! I could easily get receiver with dedicated HT setup, but I don't have space for it... So... my question is - if i create an iso backup of a TrueHD movie- will I have to extract and encode TrueHD AC3 core to play on Z10 pro or since I have an iso the core will be one of the tracks on it? DTS HD MA plays fine from an iso as Bose 700 supports it. Thanks!
TrueHD does not have a lossy core like DTS-HD does, it's just a separate stream linked to the main one. If you make a full backup correctly then that AC3 track will be included and will be played, if you pick and choose tracks then make sure you grab the correct AC3 one.
Thank you Mark - noted!) As a side note: Will HD Fury Vertex2 between Z10 Pro and Bose 700 bar allow me to output LPCM signals as 7.2 etc for TrueHD without going to AC3 track?
