I am trying to reconfigure my Z9X (FW: v6.3.66_G). I was once able to set HDR setting to HDR10; however, it is disappeared. Now only the following HDR options are available: Auto, Highest SDR Rec. 709, Highest SDR Rec.2020, and those for Dolby Vision VS10 Engines. As my projector doesn't support DV, I could only use HDR10 for HDR contents, but the option is gone now. I have tried many different Resolution + Color Settings combinations, but no luck. Does anybody know how I can get it back? Many Thanks!!
This would indicate that the EDID the Zidoo is receiving from the projector isn't advertising support for HDR10. What projector is it? I take it you've cold rebooted the Zidoo?
The Projector is Optoma UHz65. Yes, I have cold rebooted my Zidoo but it still can't get the HDR option.
Can you post a copy of the EDID? Settings/Display/Custom EDID/Save EDID Change the file extension from .bin to .txt to post on forum
I didn't turn on the custom EDID switch. After I turned it on, I am able to choose "Mapping HDR" now. Problem solved. Thank you for your help!
