Would I expect any issues if I connect a player to my PC monitor via HDMI and used USB mouse and keyboard to do the initial setup in comfort at my desk rather than through my TV? Run through the initial config, scan, correction of mismatched content via HT4, etc.? I don't suspect there'd be an issue, but curious if anyone has tried it?
No problems, but it's probably a lot easier with the remote. USB keyboard is useful for usernames and passwords for network shares etc.
I did exactly that when I set it up and tested my Z9X. also used the remote as well...combination of both
