    I'm running version v1.2.3

    I have un-encrypted hdmi source that is displayed correctly in the preview window, but the broadcast fails to start. All the settings in the 'HDMI in' page are off except for "Tip no hdmi in signal".

    I have Settings->Sound & Notifications->HDMI Rx Audio format->PCM.
    Settings->Display->HDMI Mode is set to Auto
    Settings->HDMI Rx Functions is set to 1.4
    Settings->HDMI CEC Functions are check-marked, except for the IRDA/CEC Switch which is set to Off

    Also is there a reason why the IP must be within 224-239.x.x.x when the box address is 192.x.x.x?

    Also is there a reason why the IP must be within 224-239.x.x.x <== This is a multicast address (one-to-many or many-to-many distribution) . It can broadcast your video into your local network .Every computer on your network can view the video.

    when the box address is 192.x.x.x? <== It can use in every network no matter what your ip or network is..

    Study the meaning of unicast, multicast and broadcast.
    Maybe in your (small) network there are not noticeable differences between multicast and broadcast.
