Is there a way to do this without rescanning the whole library? For ex by changing ip to the new nas?
The library contains about 3000 movies.

I haven't tried this, but there is a synchronisation function to do it.

First make a backup so if you bugger it up you can go back to the original settings!!

Add the new NAS with the same content as the old one as a source but DON'T scan it (press <return> when it asks to scan).

Then press <menu> and select "Synchronise data from other source" and point to the first NAS.

As I say, I've never tried this so there might be a bit of trial and error...

Did this work for you rola? I need to move my library to a new storage pool also.

I ended up doing a full rescan, if I remember correctly.

I have used this technique several times (as I have upgraded my NAS) and it worked well.

It worked great for me as well. I'm just glad I researched first and saw that feature was available.
