Someone has made it work by connecting the drive to a TV. After the TV detects the drive successfully, it then works on the Zidoo.

Install the app "SideApps" and use it. It does not replace the main launcher, just an app that lists all the installed apps in the device.

Set the Video delay to about 3 seconds. That way, the video will start playing exactly after the resync and you should see the DV badge.

Have you tried watching from a flashdrive? If it works with a flashdrive but not a harddrive, you may have a problem with delivery e.g. not enough...
