Don't know about A8, but in my A6ME gapless was turned off in playback settings after the new update. Just turned it on again.

I asume that you are aware of that the on/off schwith on the remote only works in IR mode and that you therefore have to to point it on the unit?
Can I skip 1.3.20 and go directly to 1.3.23 version from v1.2.98?
Perhaps it has been withdrawn by Eversolo? It seems to contain a lot of bugs. (As always) Wish they would fix the bugs instead of adding new stuff...
