How about a thread sharing what music you are currently listening to? There is so much fantastic music out there, that we don't know about, or never heard of. The idea grew on me, when member Nutul mentioned the band Hadouk Trio, which i have never heard of and now they are regularly visitors on my playlist. Maybe we could enjoy a thread with no fighting and refrain from comments like, "This sounds like a dinosaur throwing up". Please remember that sharing your music taste is something very personal If you dislike it, just leave it and if you love it press the like button or express that you can enjoy it. What do you guys think of it? I thought of something lke: Artist: Album: Genre: Since i am the thread opener i will give my first recommendation. (Which is running on my headset as i write this message). Artist: Mohini Dey Album: Mohini Dey (Debut Album) Genre: Jazz / Fusion
Thanks @_Richard_ with that I discovered MaMoGi... brilliant! Artist: Steven Wilson Album: To The Bone Genre: Progressive rock
Yeah, she is as good as it get´s. She is 28 and has been around and on stage for almost 20 years. She can and want´s to do it all, Jazz, Funk, Metal, Rock, Fusion, Prog.Rock, Folk from India... I guess she is developing into being a session musician and that´s why she moved to Nashville lately. Afaik, the tall guy to the left on the MaMoGi Cover is her husband/friend and plays saxophone. If interested, there is a kind of lengthy but worthwhile interview on Youtube.
This is not fair, Rick... A masterpiece of a recording... I listen in awe to all the glass-clinging in the far background and the mumbling of the people in the club... Probably my first "audiophile" CD. Artist: Fish Album: Suits Genre: Progressive Rock
Yup. This is one of these seldom moments where good music comes together with good recording. Imho the Original Recording from 1977 is the best version. There is a Remastered version from 2014, but they largely stripped the background noise which are essential components of the recording, creating this unique experience of sitting right in the venue. What the 30th Anniversary version is good for, except making money, is out of my knowledge.
This is another example of excellent recording and mastering. Especially "Miss Teardrop". Artist: Felix Laband Album: Dark Days Exit Genre: I really don't know (maybe Alternativ) p.s.: Your tweeters are not defect in "Dirty Nightgown".
Artist: Musica Nuda Album: 55/21 Genre: Jazz? Very minimalistic. But just listen to Track 13 "Una Carezza In Un Pugno"....what a voice
Artist: The Airborne Toxic Event Album: The Airborne Toxic Event Genre: Rock ...great Album. Almost no fillers.
