From ZDMC 21.0 for AML S928X thread. Do we have confirmation that this APK works appropriately with the hardware player on Z1000 Pro?
Why haven't they solved the problem of tagging watched videos? When you watch a video on ZDMC , it's not marked as watched, whereas it is in HT5. It's a real pain: paying for boxes at this price and..: -HT5 is good, but some basic functions are missing. - ZDMC is good, but with the zidoo player isn't quite up to scratch. - bugs in firmware and other bugs following updates (I don't have any problems at the moment, but considering the comments...) Maybe it's time to do something more serious about one or two things...
The fact that zdmc is from 2023 (20.1), is downright sad. Kodi 21.2 was released in january of 2025..... I love my Z9x but my new purchase of dv player I don't think it will be zidoo because of their archaic software updates.
I tried ZDMC for the first time yesterday. I was disappointed in that it treats TV libraries the same way that every other client that I have tried so far on my Z9X 8K. TV libraries are just not handled the same way as movies. Even with ZDMC. I thought it might be different with Kodi, but it wasn't. You either have no TV section show up in the client (Amber did this) or the TV section will constantly complain that you have no sources even though you added a folder and marked the content as TV. Would be really, really nice if we could get more expanded TV library management with Zidoo. Would be nice to have it's own continue watching, recently added, etc like every other media centre software out there.
