when trying to decrease the volume the volume will just keep increasing. If I pause, sometimes it will start to decrease but most often it will not until max volume has been reached 1st. In other words the volume - key will increase volume. The + nor - on the remote seem to function independently any suggestions?
I've been a couple of times in your situation as well; I cannot remember what I did precisely, but it restored itself. Maybe put the DAC into standby, then resume it...? Maybe I pressed the vol+ and then vol- and it got fixed? Really cannot remember. Does yours do it consistently? I mean, does it not work at all? How often does it happen? Since the remote is BT, it could be some RF noise / some particular moment of the day? Interference with wi-fy - maybe neighbor's one? Just thinking out loud here, as I said, have no clue, just suggesting ways to check. Ah, also: check the batteries...
Thank you for your reply It is very consistent. It seems like a toggle. If it starts going up, even with down selected, it keeps going up. If I pause then sometimes it will go down but not always. I do not believe I have interference issues. I will try your suggestions, even unplug the unit. I must admit it is a very annoying problem
So nobody has any solutions to this problem, It is so annoying I’m going to sell this unit. Hard to believe such an amazing dac has such a horrible remote!
