    Hello.
maybe a stupid question (hope i'm in the right section): where does theZ9X PRO store all the movie informations for the HomeTheater's posters/sheets?
Can't seem to find anything like that.
At least not until i do a Backup of the Poster Wall data in "settings -> Library -> BackupRestore"
After a successful Backup i get a NFO file for each movie that has already a poster assigned to.
    So far so good.
But where does it store all those Poster infos that go into the NFO files?
They must be somewhere but where are they hidden?

Think you're getting confused between Export and Backup.

Export saves an NFO and artwork into each movie's respective folder. Backup creates a backup with a ztb extension which is actually a zip file in which you'll find settings and a copy of the SQLite database file.

Settings and caches of poster files (if you use online and not local scraping of artwork) are stored during runtime in a hidden .hometheatre folder, the location of which is defined in HT settings ("Poster Folder"). Ideally you want this on the box and not in the root of the "Source", so choose "Custom" and leave the path defaulted to Storage. Artwork is not stored there if you use local art in scraping.

The database is hidden away for runtime and not accessible to users.

    thanks.
I'm pretty sure that i did not execute "EXPORT" but "BACKUP".
I had to specify a backup folder in "Library" in HT settings which i called "mybackup".
Then i clicked "BACKUP" and after a few minutes i had a file named BACKUP-20241210-183306.ztb and an additional backup folder named BACKUP-20241210-183306 inside the specified "mybackup" folder.
And additionally it gave me all the NFOs in the root directory (all my ISOs are in the root) that weren't there before.

My Poster Folder is the default folder: "Priority save to device" is checked by default.

My hidden .hometheater folder is located on the HDD where my movies are stored.
I can open that .hometheater folder in Windows.
There are 4 folders inside it:
    Backdrops
    Cache
    Logos
    Posters
"Cache" is empty, "Backdrops" and "Posters" contain nothing but JPGs, "Logos" nothing but PNGs. So nothing but artwork.

If i understand you right there must be another "invisible" location different form ".hometheater" where the data for the NFOs are stored?

As far as I know, you don't have any NFO files if you have not exported them separately.

thanx, that's what i'm thinking too.

But i guess i couldn't make my point clear.
I'm not asking how to get NFO files.
What i'm really curious about is, where all the movie informations that appear in poster wall are stored on the Zidoo. Before you export them to NFOs.
Are they integrated in the poster' JPGs? Or hidden somewhere else?.

I don't know where it is stored exactly but you can export the database and edit it how it was already mentioned above. Open the zip and edit the ztb file with a sql editor.
I did that once and imported the edited file again but Zidoo recognised it as a corrupt one. Maybe I have done something wrong or it is not possible to edit the database with an editor.
