Upgrade me z1000pro

I have installed the zero zone leneair power supply

I have to say the picture is much better especially the sound has a huge upgrade

Next week I wil be installing a
FEMTO CLOCK MODULE

I'm hoping it wil bring even more quality to the player

 

Care to share more info with the community? Links to parts etc? Detailed observations on improvements?

I'm sure it will be appreciated.

After installing the power supply you have a much sharper image more color end depth but the biggest improvement is in the sound the sound is going to improve 50% better then it wass

The FEMTO CLOCK MODULE will be installed by Authentic Cinema its a 75mhz clock and it will improve the video and audio

After all the modifications the z1000pro wil outperform every mediaplayer on the market in sound and video

The power supply preis is 200 euro
The clock is 350 euro inklusive installing

 

Think it does already (and the rest of the Zidoo family) - i doubt very much these things will improve anything imho

 

If it did not improve way buy a zidoo 3000 it also has a leneair power supply it will improve in sound and video how beter the power supply the beter the preformens the clock in all the zidoo is cheap and it wil reduces the video and sound wen you replace it whit a high end clock you video and audio wil be better

The upgrade I'm telling and doing are the same upgrade people do fore the oppo denon and all the high end companies do the same upgrade to make the players better don't forget denon and all the high end bluray players are the same in mother bord only the upgrades make it better the the cheaper bluray player

 

For the 2nd internal hdd? I've already clarified elsewhere that linear PSUs will not improve the playback of audio. I think you need to do some research and then explain to the community why you think PQ can be improved also

 

Wen you think so its good but we have the proef hier but maybe just order the power supply try it wen it dont improve the sound send it back you have 30 day to send it back

But you are right wen the sound system is not really good you wil not hear the difference

But believe me the difference is big and I'm a sound engineer so I really know what I'm talking about I do sound for a living

 

I dont know how told you it wil not improve the sound Wen it did not a company like cinemike wil be out of business

 

Just research and you'll probably find you've wasted money. Without non-subjective argument or evidence you won't convince many audiophiles.

 

Losing the internal bay on my Pro makes that a difficult trade off for me...

 

Will be interesting to see what the PSU + Femtoclock upgrades will do to AQ and PQ. I can understand the Audio influence but for PQ I am sceptic as it is all digital processed and next buffered regarding data streaming.
Don't see how it could improve things there. Connected a big Linear 12V 5A PSU to my Z9X and did not see any change for PQ myself.

For those interested, this is mainly about improving sound with movies (MCH in DD and DTS).
It still will also depend on the DAC included in the AMP for total AQ. The Neo X and Neo Alpha models improved sound clearly via HDMI to the same Onkyo AMP for playing movies (and MCH music).

For 2CH music getting an Eversolo model is the recommended way to improve AQ having a Z1000 Pro. This is fully complimentary to this MCH Audio via HDMI upgrade.

 

Hallo the video is much sharper more detailed and depth but its not really much wen I guess max 10% better it's more the color is better more shaping in the background.
Wen I play a bad bluray rip now you see alot of artifacts because it's so sharp Wen I play the same file whit my z9x you don't see the artifacts on the same tv the sound had a big improvement it's much smoother better low and more detailed

 

A Z9X, Z10 Pro and Z1000 Pro all share exactly the same motherboard. Using and external Linear PSU should result in the same PQ and AQ with Z9X or Z10 Pro. This for those wanting to give it a try too.

 

Yes but my z1000 pro has the upgraded psu in it

 

My z1000pro gives a much better picture and really much better sound then the original z9x

 

Before the upgrade the z1000pro and the z9x were the same in picture and sound

 

do you have a link for a PSU that works with Z9X? thanks

 

I'm not using the z1000pro for music only for movies and the dac in my sound processor are really good

The power supply will work for the z9x
